Teaching Authors is a site full of great tips and activities for writers of all ages.
It is run by six children’s book authors with a wide range (and many years of experience) teaching writing to children, teens and adults.

Creative Kids Tales is an Australian site for emerging children’s authors. We aim to bring together aspiring writers who love to write children’s short stories, poems or chapter books. With a wide variety under the one site we hope to offer publishers, agents and manuscript services a smorgasbord of talent just waiting to be sampled. It is run by Susan Stephenson, writer, editor, teacher and book reviewer. Susan is passionate about helping kids write and she loves to find and share useful educational resources with parents, teachers and librarians.. Alphabet Soup is the print magazine for kids aged 6 to 12 who love books and creative writing.
The magazine’s blog features author/illustrator interviews, children’s writing competitions around Australia, writing tips, book reviews for kids (and often reviews by kids!), a themed activities page, news about book events, and an occasional peek into what’s going on behind the scenes of the magazine.
PASS IT ON – is the weekly Australian networking e-zine for everyone and anyone interested in the Children’s Book Industry.

Buzz Words e-zine provides illustrators and writers for children with writing tips, competitions, opportunities, markets, interviews and more. Buzz Words Books (www.buzzwordsmagazine.blogspot.com ) hosts blog tours and features reviews of children’s and YA books.
Aussiereviews is an independent, Australian website which reviews books of all genres and for all age groups. Since it was set up in 2001 it has reviewed well over two thousand books. Owned and run by author Sally Murphy, you can search books by category, or by author or illustrator.
