Teen & Adult Writers

Teen & Adult writing sessions and activities are based on actual sessions and workshops I have conducted at schools, festivals and writing programs.

These sessions aim to be inspiring and creative, and introduce you to a variety of ways that writers develop their

• characters
• plot
• themes
• setting
• dialogue
• voice
• conflict

Every writer works differently so you need to try different things, read a lot, listen to other writers and decide what works best for you.

If there’s something I’ve learned from writing it’s that you have to write what’s in your heart, you have to tell the story that “you have to tell”.

I encourage you to participate in our FREE writing competitions. Write and read as much as you can. If you want to be a writer, you’ll need to practice and persevere.
